Owain Wellborn is undertaking a May residency at Superordinary Warehouse to complete 'Yuga,' a body of work exploring modern dystopia and Australian culture through disruption and process.
My name is Owain Wellborn, I have currently booked a month residency in Superordinary warehouse space for the month of May. Purpose for this being to allow myself to connect with all my work at the same time by using the large space available to hang all my pieces at once. The Body of work is called 'Yuga', which in my Ngarabal language means 'No'. The purpose of the body of work is to explore the topic of Modern day dystopia, as well as the idea of Australia having a culture.
