Buckley Lowe is an artist, curator, and advocate for accessible art, dedicated to making original artwork affordable and available to everyone through his LOLT Affordable Art Show and B.LOWE Hair and Art Space.
When Buckley Lowe arrived in Australia, he quickly recognized a gap in Brisbane's art scene-art was often reserved for the well-heeled or remained inaccessible to the wider public. Driven by the belief that art should be for everyone, he set out to change this dynamic. From his salon-turned-gallery, Buckley founded the LOLT (Life on Life Terms) Affordable Art Show, a groundbreaking initiative that has been making art more accessible for the past four years. The annual event brings together over 100 artists in a celebration of creativity, offering original works at prices that invite more people to experience and own art. At B.LOWE Hair and Art Space, Buckley has cultivated a welcoming hub for both emerging and established artists. The space serves as a platform for exposure, sales, and community engagement, ensuring that artists receive the recognition and support they deserve.
