INFERNO – Brisbane

Sat 23 Jan 20273:00pm - 11:00pm

INFERNO is back after more than three years, and BPM is bringing it to Brisbane for the first time. Vieze Asbak, Kruelty, SLVL and USH lead eight hours of hard techno in the warehouse.

INFERNO is back. It is one of BPM's original shows, built for the hard end of techno and a floor that doesn't let up, and it returns after more than three years away. BPM, the promoter behind Sydney's Meltdown Festival, is taking it to two cities it has never played. Perth gets Friday 22 January at Metro City. Brisbane gets Saturday 23 January at Superordinary, from 3pm to 11pm.

Vieze Asbak headlines. The Dutch producer started out in 2021 making tracks for friends, and a mix of relentless kicks, absurd samples and a sense of humour has since carried him to Tomorrowland, Sziget and Lowlands. His corner of hard techno has its own name, memetechno. He was on the bill for TESSERAKT here in January 2026.

Kruelty is anonymous by design, a faceless act fusing hardstyle, hard techno and industrial hardcore, with the debut album BLOODBATH MACHINERY out since November 2024. SLVL, from Maastricht, goes by The Kick Dealer and founded the label Altruism Records. USH is his regular back-to-back partner, and the two toured the UK together in 2026 as SLUSH. A week after Brisbane, all four play Meltdown, BPM's 10,000-person festival at Sydney Showground. This is the warehouse version.

Brisbane fills the other half of the bill. Ali James, Double Drop, Mayu and Poli play support, with local crews Cortex and The Garage Sesh on board as partners. Ali James and Double Drop hold residencies at both.

Pre-registration is open now and gives first access to tickets. Presale opens Thursday 8 October at midday AEST, with general sale from Friday 9 October at midday. Ticket prices and set times are still to come.
